Micah Fletcher is a Multimedia Specialist for the Cherokee Phoenix in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He graduated from Carl Albert State College with an Associates in Business Administration and Accounting. Journalism is a new venture for him, but one he is looking forward to doing because he is passionate about sharing people\u2019s stories and spreading the Cherokee culture. For over seven years he has worked on his side project, MF Media, where he creates wedding films and other types of videos for people in his area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Emma Hall is a Sacramento-based journalist who specializes in higher education, race and ethnicity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Emma\u2019s work has been featured with NPR, CalMatters, and POLITICO. When she isn\u2019t wrapping up her senior coursework at Sacramento State, Emma can be found in The State Hornet newsroom, where she proudly serves as News Editor. Outside of journalism, Emma enjoys spending time with her friends, drinking boba, and expanding her beaded earring collection. She is Cherokee and Blackfeet by descent. <\/span><\/p>\n

Signa McAdams is an enrolled member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. Born in the Wind River Basin, she works within her community to uplift local voices while working for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition as a Wind River Conservation Organizer. Signa organizes community education and involvement meetings surrounding the topics of water, energy, environment, and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kanesia McGlashan-Price is an Unanga<\/span>x\u0302<\/span> content creator from Unangam Tanangin [Aleutian Islands], currently serving as an Arts and Culture Producer for KUCB News in Unalaska, Alaska. As an Indigenous content creator, McGlashan-Price is working to create web, audio and visual stories, grounded in Unanga<\/span>x\u0302<\/span> values. In 2022, she produced \u201cAqalix Qada\u201d [Come Eat], a food series featuring Unanga<\/span>x\u0302<\/span> elders and community members sharing their knowledge of traditional food preparation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Stefan Richard is Anishinaabe (Ojibwe), a member of Sagkeeng First Nation in Treaty 1 Territory. He was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Stefan is a journalist, radio host, TV host and former professional wrestler. Stefan’s work has appeared on CBC, APTN, <\/span>Slam! Wrestling<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>SAY Magazine<\/span><\/i> and the American Indian Film Festival. Stefan is a father of two. He enjoys baseball, pro wrestling, stand-up comedy and eating toast.<\/span><\/p>\n
